Install on a Fire TV Stick
Works on Fire TV Stick, Stick Lite, 4K, 4K Max, Fire TV Cube, and Fire TV built into a television.
Turn on Developer Options
Recent Fire OS versions hide this menu. Go to Settings, My Fire TV, About, highlight your device name, and press the select button seven times. A message confirms it is on. If you already see Developer options under My Fire TV, skip this step.
Let Downloader install apps
Go to Settings, My Fire TV, Developer options, Install unknown apps and switch Downloader to ON. On older Fire OS versions this is one switch called Apps from Unknown Sources.
Install Downloader
Search the Fire TV home screen for Downloader, the orange icon by AFTVnews, and install it. It is free in the Amazon Appstore.
Enter the code
Open Downloader, go to the Home tab, click the URL box, and type:

Press Go. Downloader starts the download.
Install, then delete the file
Choose Install, then Done. Downloader offers to delete the installer. Accept twice to free the space back.
Open it and add your playlist
RolloTV appears under Your Apps & Channels. Open it and enter your M3U URL or Xtream login. For Premium, activate this device.
Install on Android TV or Google TV
Works on Google TV streamers, Nvidia Shield, Mi Box, Chromecast with Google TV, and Sony, TCL, Philips, and Hisense TVs running Android TV.
Install Downloader
Open Google Play on the TV, search for Downloader by AFTVnews, and install it.
Let Downloader install apps
Go to Settings, Apps, Security & restrictions, Unknown sources and switch Downloader to ON. On some Google TV devices this sits under Settings, System, Apps.
Enter the code
Open Downloader and type this into the URL box:
6404827
Press Go and wait for the download to finish.
Install it
Choose Install, then Done, then let Downloader delete the installer file.
Find it on the home screen
On Android TV it shows up in the apps row right away. Google TV does not add sideloaded apps to the home screen, so look under Apps, See all apps, Show all apps, or open Settings, Apps, See all apps. Full Google TV notes.
Add your playlist
Enter your M3U playlist URL, or your Xtream Codes server, username, and password. For Premium, activate the device.
Install on a phone, tablet, or TV box
If the device has a web browser, this is the fastest route. You do not need Downloader.
Open the download link
Go to rollotv.com/rollotv-iptv-player.apk in your browser. The file starts downloading.
Let your browser install apps
Android asks the first time. Tap the prompt, or go to Settings, Apps, Special app access, Install unknown apps, pick the browser you used, and allow it.
Open the file and install
Tap the downloaded file in the notification bar, or in Files, Downloads, and choose Install. If Play Protect warns you about an app from outside Google Play, choose Install anyway. That warning shows for every app not installed from the Play Store.
Open it and add your playlist
Enter your M3U URL or Xtream login. Phones and tablets also get a portrait layout, picture-in-picture, and swipe controls for volume and brightness.

If the install fails
"App not installed"
This is usually a half-finished download or an old copy still on the device. Delete the installer file, check you have a few hundred megabytes free, and run through the steps again. If you installed RolloTV from somewhere else before, uninstall that copy first.
Downloader says the code is invalid
Check you typed 6404827 with no spaces, in the URL box on the Home
tab, not in the browser tab. If it still fails, type rollotv.com/rollotv-iptv-player.apk instead.
The download stops partway
Move the device closer to the router, or switch it to a 5 GHz network, then try again. Fire TV Sticks drop large downloads on a weak signal more often than other devices.
Play Protect shows a warning
Choose Install anyway. Android shows this for every app installed outside the Play Store. RolloTV will be on Google Play later.
It installed but I cannot find it
Google TV keeps sideloaded apps off the home screen. The Google TV page shows where to look.
