Xtream Codes Player for Android TV and Fire TV

RolloTV is a free Xtream Codes player for Android TV, Fire TV, phones, and tablets. Enter your server, username, and password to get real categories, movie and series details, a built-in guide, and catch-up.

RolloTV has no channels or playlists. You add your own.

What an Xtream Codes login is

Xtream Codes is an API: a set of requests a player can make to a panel server. Instead of downloading one long text file, the app asks specific questions. What categories exist? What is in this one? What is this movie about? What is on this channel tonight?

You sign in with three things:

  • A server URL, usually like http://example.com:8080, sometimes with a port number, sometimes without
  • A username
  • A password

A note on the name. The original Xtream Codes company shut down in 2019, but the API it defined became a standard that many panel systems still use. "Xtream Codes login" now describes the format of the credentials, not a company. RolloTV is not affiliated with Xtream Codes, with any panel operator, or with any provider.

What the API gives you that a playlist cannot

If your provider offers both an M3U link and an Xtream login for the same account, use the Xtream login. You get the same channels either way, but the app can do more with them.

FeatureWhat you get
CategoriesReal category lists from the server, kept separate for live, movies, and series, instead of scraped from a text attribute.
Program guideBuilt in. No separate XMLTV link to find and nothing to match up by hand.
Movie detailsPlot, cast, director, release date, duration, genre, and rating on the detail page.
Series structureReal seasons and episodes, with thumbnails, durations, and resume per episode.
Account statusYour expiry date, trial status, and how many connections you are using, all inside the app.
Catch-upAvailable where your provider supports it. Not possible from a flat playlist.

Catch-up is the dividing line. It is a Premium feature and appears only on Xtream profiles. The section is hidden on M3U profiles, because a playlist file has no way to describe a past broadcast.

How to add your Xtream login

1

Open RolloTV and add a playlist

The app asks on first run. Later, add more from the profile menu: six profiles on a TV, five on a phone or tablet.

2

Pick Xtream Codes

Choose Xtream Codes rather than M3U.

3

Enter the server address

Include http:// or https:// and the port number if your provider gave you one. Do not add /player_api.php or anything after the port.

4

Enter your username and password

These are case sensitive. Watch for 0 against O and 1 against I.

5

Name the profile and save

RolloTV signs in and loads your categories. Your expiry date and connection count then appear on the account screen.

Finding your server address

Providers send credentials in different shapes. If you were given a long get.php link rather than three separate fields, the three parts are already inside it:

http://example.com:8080/get.php?username=YOURNAME&password=YOURPASS&type=m3u_plus

The server is http://example.com:8080, the username is YOURNAME, and the password is YOURPASS. Enter those three in the Xtream form and you get the full API instead of a flat playlist.

Your account inside the app

An Xtream login lets RolloTV show your account details on the profile screen: the expiry date, whether it is a trial, and how many connections are in use against your limit.

That connection count is worth knowing. Most of the "it plays for five seconds and stops" reports come down to another device holding the last connection open.

Common Xtream errors

Wrong username or password

Check case, and check the server address has no trailing slash or extra path. If the credentials work in a browser but not in the app, the port is usually wrong.

Maximum connections reached

Your account allows a set number of streams at once. Close RolloTV on other devices, wait a minute for the server to release the slot, and try again. The account screen shows the current count.

The account is expired

The expiry date on the account screen comes from your provider's server. Renewing it is between you and them. A RolloTV activation code has no effect on it.

Categories load but nothing plays

The login works and the streams do not. That is the provider's server. Try a different category to see whether it is one stream or all of them.

Where logins come from

Your own provider. RolloTV sells no Xtream accounts, bundles none, and is not connected to any panel operator. Only use a login you have the legal right to use. See our disclaimer.

Xtream Codes questions

No. You bring your own server, username, and password from a provider you pay separately. We sell no accounts and cannot tell you where to get one.

No. The original company closed in 2019. The name now describes a credential format that many panel systems use. We are not affiliated with it or with any panel operator.

Xtream, if your provider offers both. You get real categories, movie and series details, a built-in guide, your account expiry, and catch-up. Compare the two.

The three parts are inside the link. The server is everything before /get.php, and the username and password are the values after username= and password=.

Your account allows a set number of streams at once. Close RolloTV on other devices, wait a minute, and try again. The account screen shows how many connections are open.

No. They are unrelated. Your Xtream subscription comes from your provider and gives you channels. A RolloTV code unlocks features in the app and gives you nothing to watch.
